One of the most common causes for people to give up learning a language is that they underestimated the amount of time they would need to master it. Unfortunately, learning a language well is a long process. Of course, if all you want to do is be able to say “hello”, “goodbye”, “thank you” and other such set phrases, then we’re not talking about a difficult and lengthy process.
